Save the Children is an International humanitarian, child-centered, development organization, without religious, political or governmental affiliation.
In 1920, the International Save the Children Union was founded in Geneva by two organizations, together with a number of other bodies working for children – some using the Save the Children name or a local variant. Over the years, Save the Children Members were created around the world, embodying Eglantyne and Dorothy’s vision.
Today, Save the Children and its 30 member organizations work to deliver change for children in around 120 countries. The organization delivers its programs internationally to achieve the greatest possible impact for children. It has a small centre and seven regional offices. The members work together to campaign for better outcomes for children, and to deliver programs at scale to support children.
Position 1: Health & Nutrition Coordinator
LOCATION: Sekota
GRADE: 3B
CONTRACT LENGTH: Up to March 31, 2027
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, Nursing, epidemiology, Nutrition, Health Sciences, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS
Essential
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in humanitarian programming, emergency response, or area-based programming.
- Proven experience coordinating multisectoral humanitarian programmes in complex emergency settings.
- Strong understanding of humanitarian coordination systems, cluster architecture, and area-based approaches.
- Experience facilitating operational coordination among multiple actors and sectors.
- Experience in service mapping, operational analysis, referral systems, or integrated programming.
- Strong understanding of Health, Nutrition, WASH, Protection,
- Experience working with government structures, local actors, and humanitarian coordination platforms.
- Strong planning, facilitation, coordination, and communication skills.
- Experience managing operational complexity and adaptive programming.
- Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and representation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in insecure and rapidly changing environments.
- Commitment to humanitarian principles, accountability, and safeguarding.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including influencing, negotiation and coaching.
- Commitment to Save the Children values.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and ability and willingness to operate independently in austere, remote and potentially hazardous environments for protracted periods, involving physical hardship and little comfort, and including possible extensive travel within the area of operation

Position 2: TSFP Warehouse Officer
AREA OFFICE/ LOCATION: East – Jigjiga Field office – Goljano Woreda Somali region
GRADE: 4A
CONTRACT LENGTH: One year with possible extension
Reports to: Health & Nutrition Coordinator Â
- BSc in Nursing, Human Nutrition/Food science and Nutrition, public Health and related Field.
- Demonstrated skills in program planning, implementation and monitoring.
- Must have TSFP warehouse nutrition program experience.
- Demonstrated skills in peer group training, Training of Trainers and development of training materials.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English and Local language.
- Strong computer (Microsoft skills), all and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
 Experience & Skills (Essential)
- Minimum three years working experience for Degree out of which two-years’ experience directly related to emergency health & nutrition related fields Knowledge, training and experience in IMAM and community mobilization/BCC
