Job Summary

The Field Sales Agent is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding qualified drivers to the company’s platform. The role involves actively engaging prospective drivers in the field, promoting the company’s services, assisting with document collection, and ensuring successful driver registration and activation. The position is fully performance-based, with earnings determined by approved and active driver registrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential drivers within assigned territories.
• Promote the company’s driver partnership program and recruitment campaigns.
• Explain the platform’s benefits, earning opportunities, incentives, and registration process.
• Collect and verify all required driver registration documents.
• Assist applicants in completing registration forms accurately.
• Submit complete and accurate driver applications through the registration system.
• Follow up with applicants until their accounts are approved and activated.
• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve incomplete or rejected applications.
• Maintain accurate daily records of leads, registrations, approvals, and activations.
• Attend scheduled meetings, training sessions, and field activities.
• Meet assigned weekly and monthly driver recruitment targets.
• Represent the company professionally while interacting with prospective drivers.
• Report market feedback and competitor activities to the supervisor.

Working Conditions

• Field-based role within assigned operational areas.
• Flexible working hours based on recruitment activities.

Compensation

• Commission-based only (No fixed salary).
• Commission is paid for approved and activated drivers.
• Additional performance incentives may be provided during special campaigns.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Number of completed registrations.
• Accuracy and completeness of submitted documents.
• Weekly and monthly target achievement.

Expected Outcome

Successfully recruit qualified drivers, ensure complete and accurate documentation, achieve recruitment targets, and contribute to the growth of the company’s active driver network.

Educational Qualification

• Minimum High School Diploma (Grade 12 completed).
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree is an added advantage.

Experience

• Previous experience in sales, marketing, customer acquisition, or field operations is preferred.
• Experience in the transportation or ride-hailing industry is an advantage.
• Career Level : Entry Level (Fresh Graduate)

Technical Requirements

• Basic smartphone and mobile application skills.
• Ability to use online registration systems.
• Good knowledge of Addis Ababa roads and major driver gathering locations.
