JSI is a public health organization dedicated to improving the health of people and communities in more than 70 countries. Almost 40 years of global experience supports and informs JSI’s work in Ethiopia. Since 1994, JSI has worked in partnership with the government and local civil society organizations to support the Ethiopian government’s health and development priorities.
JSI is working in all regions across Ethiopia, in urban as well as rural areas—though most projects reach the largest population groups by focusing on the four most populous regions. Operationally, JSI has the integrity of strong management systems, combined with the flexibility of a decentralized structure that meets clients’ and partners’ needs.
Position: Training Data Officer – Intern
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of Bachelor degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Information systems, Educational Technology or related fields with substantial experience in training and training data management; preference will be given to applicants with health-related qualifications.
- A minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in data entry and data management
- Experience in training planning, coordination and follow up
- Extensive experience in databases management;
- Familiarity with Learning Management system (Moodle) and eLearning courses
- Knowledge of additional data entry tools
- Background in data analysis
- Basic understanding of data security best practices
- Experiences in Microsoft Office Products
- Strong English communication skills (both written and spoken) Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
- Ability and willingness to travel to regions throughout Ethiopia.
The eLearning and Training Data Officer/Intern will support the implementation, and monitoring of digital learning and training activities under the MIHR-E project. The role focuses on managing training data, registration and enrolment, supporting eLearning platforms, and ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of capacity building efforts for health workers and stakeholders.
