The Leprosy Mission (TLM) is an internationally recognized Christian organization with more than 150 years of global experience in defeating leprosy and transforming lives. Active in over 30 countries, TLM collaborates with governments, partners, and communities to promote dignity, inclusion, and equality for persons affected by leprosy and disability.
TLMI-E works across Ethiopia to reduce stigma, support socio-economic inclusion, and strengthen community participation. The Country Office is located in Addis Ababa.
Position Overview: Program Coordinator
The Program Coordinator will oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of TLMI-Eβs Disability Inclusion Program and related initiatives. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality program delivery, effective partner coordination, and strong compliance with organizational and donor requirements.
This position requires strong project leadership skills, the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and a commitment to TLMI-Eβs mission and safeguarding standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage TLMI-E programs to ensure activities are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Serve as the main liaison between TLMI-E and implementing partners.
- Provide technical oversight, guidance, and capacity-building support to partner organizations.
- Lead the development of project proposals, concept notes, and donor submissions.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, progress reports, and monitoring records.
- Coordinate, supervise, and follow up on program activities across all intervention areas.
- Represent TLMI-E in sector networks, working groups, and coordination platforms.
- Ensure full compliance with TLMI-Eβs safeguarding, code of conduct, and program standards.

Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Disability Studies, Public Health, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in program management within NGOs, development programs, or disability inclusion initiatives
- Demonstrated experience in capacity-building, especially working with Disabled Personsβ Organizations (DPOs)
- Experience managing budgets, donor-funded programs, and reporting requirements
- Strong networking abilities with government agencies, NGOs, CSOs, and international bodies
- Excellent command of Amharic and professional working proficiency in English
- Strong computer skills, especially MS Office
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to represent the organization professionally in meetings, events, and external platforms
