DKT Ethiopia is looking for motivated and detail-oriented professionals to support its MIS team with accurate data entry, transaction reconciliation, and SAP system updates. This short-term assignment aims to ensure all distribution-related transactions are fully captured and verified in the organization’s SAP Business One system.
Position: MIS Data Entry Assistant (2 Positions)
Location: Addis Ababa, DKT Ethiopia Head Office (Gerji–Jackros, in front of Guna Trading Plc)
Employment Type: Short-Term Contract (6 months, extendable)
Reports To: MIS Manager
Work Schedule: Full-time, on-site (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Job Summary
The MIS Data Entry Assistants will support the Distribution MIS unit by entering, validating, and reconciling monthly distribution data. The role requires accuracy, strong attention to detail, and hands-on experience with ERP systems—preferably SAP Business One.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and reconcile distribution data from the e-sales server into SAP.
- Verify the completeness and accuracy of data entries against source documents.
- Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, Finance, and MIS teams to ensure timely data submission and posting.
- Support clearing backlog transactions when required.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Management, Accounting, Finance, IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
Experience
- 1–2 years of proven data entry or related experience.
- Strong familiarity with ERP systems; SAP Business One experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of data management principles and reporting processes.
- Previous involvement in ERP implementation or backlog posting is an added advantage.
Required Skills & Competencies
- MS Excel, MS Word, and basic database usage skills.
- Strong practical ability in ERP data entry (SAP Business One advantage).
- Basic understanding of inventory and stock management, dispatch, and reconciliation.
- High accuracy with large transactional datasets.
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills across multiple departments.
- Ability to perform under deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong sense of professional ethics and confidentiality.
Contract Terms
- Duration: 6 months (extendable based on need)
- Compensation: Competitive, based on DKT Ethiopia’s contract employment scale
- Working Hours: Full-time, on-site
