Hudeyeb General Trading PLC is a private business organization based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, that manages a shopping mall in the Gerji area and participates in national development and social initiatives

Position: Junior Accountant

Our Company manages a shopping mall in Addis Ababa. The accountant will be tasked with reviewing and preparing daily, monthly and yearly reports and follow up the company accounting books daily.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparing Daily, weekly and yearly summary report.
  • Assisting the senior accountant when handling customers
  • Preparing report for the tax center monthly report
  • Managing cash register machine
  • Working on Peachtree
  • Screening and preparing receipts
  • Handling office tasks such as filling, generating reports, and making payments as required or instructed by supervisor.
  • Undertake other related duties as may reasonably be assigned to you by the supervisor or department manager.
About You

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

Education & Experience

  • Diploma in Accounting from a recognized institute
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 0 – 1 year of work experience

Skills

  • Computer skills MS-Excel , MS-Word ,
  • Well versed with Peachtree accounting software
  • Knowledge of local tax law
  • Organizational skills and detail oriented.
  • Attention to details

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Contract

SALARY (Optional): Negotiable
