Hilina Enriched Foods is a company founded by Mr. Belete Beyene and his family. 30 years after establishing and leading a Government owned Food processing company called Faffa Foods in Ethiopia, Mr. Belete decided to replicate the establishment and address the problem of malnutrition in Ethiopia in an innovative way.
In 1998, Hilina Foods was officially established to process locally available grains and enrich the flours for the prevention of malnutrition. In 2006, through UNICEF, Mr. Belete came to know about the revolutionary product called “Plumpy Nut” widely known as RUTF.
Position 1: Junior Procurement & Logistics Officer
Education: BA degree in Supply chain management, Procurement management or any other related field of study
Experience: 0 year
BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Assists in foreign procurement and logistics operations; ensures the purchase of raw materials and other inputs, equipment, goods supplies and services needed for company operations ,follow purchasing policies and procedures; ascertains that the company’s economic and other advantages are always secured in all purchase dealings and transactions; Supports in all logistic activities of the company.
Location: Addis Ababa
Position 2: Local Procurement Officer
Education: BA degree in Supply chain management, Procurement management or any other related field of study
Experience: 4 years
BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Under the supervision of Local procurement & property Administration head, carries out local purchasing activities of the company; ensures smooth communication with all parties involved, monitors field status and that raw materials and products are procured and transported timely in cost effective manner.
