Goh Betoch Bank SC, the first private mortgage financial firm, is officially set to open its door as of October 25 as the 21st bank at its headquarter. Goh Betoch Bank S.C was founded by 11 visionary individuals, veteran bankers, investors, and academicians who have a strong devotion to their country and people.
The reasons behind the inception of this, the first of its kind or pioneer private mortgage bank in Ethiopia include huge housing backlog, unaffordability of houses due to the rising cost of construction, persistent inflation, poor housing financing scheme in the country, among others.
Position 1: Customer Service Officer III
Educational Level and work Experience:
- Minimum of BA Degree in Management/Economics/Accounting & Finance/Marketing/Banking & Finance/ Business Administration and any business-related field of study with 3 years of related work experience in banking operations.
Salary: As per the Bank Scale
Location of Work: Modjo, Kombolcha and Dessie Branches
Position 2: Senior Procurement Officer
Educational Level and work Experience:
- Minimum of BA Degree in Economics/Accounting/Management/Business Administration/ Supply Chain Management/Finance and Accounting and any business-related field of study with 5 years of related work experience.
Salary: As per the Bank Scale
Location of Work: Head Office
Position 3: Branch Manager
- Minimum of BA Degree in Management /Economics/Accounting & Finance/ Marketing/ Banking & Finance or Business Administration and any business-related field of study, with 8 years’ work experience in banking operations.
Salary: As per the Bank Scale
Location of Work: Modjo, Kombolcha and Dessie Branches
Position 4: Chief Operations Officer
Educational Level and work Experience:
- Minimum of BA Degree in Management/Accounting/ Finance & Accounting/ Economics / Business Administration and any business-related field of study, with 12 years’ work experience in banking and/or finance, out of which, at a minimum four (4) years’ experience as department director or equivalent.
- Have extensive exposure on Branch Operations, Credit and Trade Finance experience.
- Strong leadership, business acumen and communication skill.
