Sustainable Economic Growth is one of the five primary sectors that fosters economic resilience, innovation, and job opportunities to guarantee long-term prosperity for African communities, as well as regional economic integration. This sector encompasses seven projects with a total funding of EUR 140.2 million, co-financed by the European Union and Germany.
Position: Communication Intern
Qualifications
- Graduates that are allowed to reside and work in Ethiopia who finished their studies within the last year with a degree in Communications, English language or Literature, International Relations, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in English is essential. Knowledge of other AU working languages is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of graphics design and familiarity with InDesign and Photoshop is an advantage
- Strong writing and editing abilities to create clear, concise and engaging materials
- A good eye for aesthetics, storytelling and visual branding
- Ability to conduct online research, analyse data and synthesise complex information
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proactive, resourceful and eager to learn
A team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently
