Position 1: Service Engineer
Job Summary
- The Biomedical, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineer is responsible for providing high-quality after-sales technical support for medical equipment, including installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, user training, technical documentation, and customer support.
Roles and Responsibilities
Installation and Commissioning
- Install and commission medical equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications, company procedures, and international safety standards.
- Conduct pre-installation inspections and prepare site readiness reports.
- Perform system configuration, software installation, parameter settings, and functional testing.
- Carry out operational qualification and acceptance testing before handing over equipment to customers.
- Ensure equipment operates according to manufacturer performance specifications before customer acceptance.
- Prepare installation reports, commissioning certificates, and customer handover documentation.
Preventive Maintenance
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance according to maintenance contracts and manufacturer recommendations.
Corrective Maintenance and Troubleshooting
- Respond promptly to customer service requests and equipment breakdowns.
- Identify root causes of equipment failures using appropriate diagnostic procedures.
- Verify equipment functionality after repairs before returning it to service.
- Escalate unresolved technical issues to manufacturers and follow up until resolution.
Calibration and Performance Verification
- Perform calibration according to manufacturer recommendations and applicable standards.
- Conduct safety inspections and  safety tests where applicable.
- Document calibration results and maintain calibration records.
Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare accurate installation, maintenance, repair, calibration, and service reports.
- Maintain service history records for every installed medical device.
- Document recurring technical problems and corrective actions.
- Submit reports within the required company timelines.
- Update the service management system with all completed activities.

Position 2:Â Application Specialists
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct professional product demonstrations for prospective and existing customers, highlighting the clinical, operational, and technical benefits of IVD and laboratory equipment.
- Support the sales team during customer visits, exhibitions, and  technical seminars by providing in-depth product knowledge.
- Deliver scientific presentations on new technologies, product innovations, and laboratory best practices.
- Configure application parameters, test menus, quality control settings, calibration protocols, and user profiles.
- Verify that instruments are operating according to manufacturer specifications before customer handover.
- Provide comprehensive training to laboratory professionals on instrument operation, reagent preparation, calibration procedures, quality control, routine maintenance, and result interpretation.
- Develop and implement structured user training programs for newly installed laboratory systems.
- Prepare user manuals, quick reference guides, and application notes to support continuous learning.
- Assist customers in evaluating analytical accuracy, precision, linearity, carryover, sensitivity, specificity, and reproducibility.
- Assist customers in establishing Internal Quality Control (IQC) and External Quality Assessment (EQA) programs.
- Monitor quality control data and recommend corrective actions when deviations occur.
Job Requirement
- Profession: Laboratory Technologist B.Sc./M.Sc.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree/M.Sc in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biochemistry and related fields,
- Experience:
- 2/4 years experiences
- Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in IVD application support, clinical laboratory operations, or laboratory equipment application.
- Experience working with hematology, chemistry, immunology, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology, molecular diagnostics, or other laboratory analyzers is highly desirable.
