Position 1: Business development intern
Internship Summary
Excess Consulting PLC is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to support the company’s business development activities. The intern will gain practical experience in market research, proposal preparation, client engagement, and promotion of consulting services.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying potential business and partnership opportunities.
- Support the preparation of proposals, and Expression of interest
- Assist in monitoring tender announcements and consultancy opportunities.
- Map potential clients and sectors.
Support other operation of the company as needed
Education
- Recent graduate social science, Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Economics, or related fields.
- Strong interest in business development, and consultancy services.
- Good communication and writing skills in English.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
Contract Type: Internship (Temporary with possibility of full time based on performance)
Position 2: Business development and marketing officer
Position Overview
The Business Development and Marketing Officer will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the growth of the company through effective marketing strategies and partnership development. The officer will play a key role in promoting the firm’s services, preparing proposals, and expanding the client base.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with the company’s services.
- Develop and implement business development strategies.
- Prepare technical and financial proposals for consultancy opportunities.
- Monitor tender announcements and funding opportunities relevant to the organization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Support branding, visibility, and promotion of the company’s services.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and potential clients and competitors.
- Coordinate with technical teams to develop competitive proposals and service packages.
- Represent the company in meetings, events, and networking opportunities.
