The Engineering Corporation of Oromia has been actively engaged in planning, study, design, construction supervision, and contract administration across multiple sectors, including water supply, irrigation, dam construction, hydropower development, building projects, road infrastructure, land use planning, environmental studies, and laboratory services. The organization has successfully executed medium to large-scale irrigation projects throughout Oromia and adjacent regions.

Engineering Corporation of Oromia Internal and External Vacancy Announcement:

 

Position 1: Assistant Lab. Technician (ALT-01)

Educational Qualification

  • Diploma/Level IV in Construction Building or a related field of education.
  • Certificate of Competency (COC) is mandatory for Level IV holders.

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience as an Assistant Lab. Technician.

Additional Requirements

  • Knowledge of Afan Oromo is advantageous.

Duty Station: Head Office.

Salary: As per the corporation’s salary scale.

Contract Duration: 12 months.

Position 2: Resident Engineer

Company: Ethiopian Construction Organization (ECO)

Required Qualification and Experience:

  • Education: BSc/MSc in Civil Engineering or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years of general experience for BSc holders or 10 years for MSc holders in building construction.

Salary: As per the scale of the corporation.

Vacancies: 1

Employment Type: Contract (6 months)
