Position: Project Manager
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Language: Fluency in both written and spoken English and Amharic.
- Computer Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Previous experience in project management with a Diplomatic Mission or an International Organization is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify project opportunities and support the development of new initiatives aligned with the Embassy’s priorities.
- Prepare project concept notes, funding proposals, budgets, logical frameworks, implementation plans, and other required documentation.
- Coordinate and monitor project implementation to ensure activities are delivered on time, within budget, and according to agreed objectives.
- Develop and maintain project work plans, schedules, and milestones while ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
- Monitor project budgets and ensure sound financial management and reporting in accordance with procurement rules.
- Prepare high-quality narrative and financial reports based on project reporting requirements.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with implementing partners, government institutions, stakeholders, and Embassy personnel.
- Identify implementation challenges, risks, and opportunities, and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
- Support project monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities, including data collection and analysis.
- Maintain accurate project records and ensure compliance with Embassy procedures and project requirements.
- Provide regular progress updates, risk assessments, and strategic advice to assigned Embassy personnel.
- Perform other project-related duties assigned by the Deputy Head of Mission and the Head of Mission.
