E-Ethio Credit System PLC is in search of a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented Junior Logistics & Import/Export Officer to assist with the company’s logistics and import/export operations, banking coordination, and administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate will be instrumental in facilitating seamless collaboration with external stakeholders, government agencies, logistics service providers, and financial institutions, all while ensuring the efficiency of internal administrative processes.
Position: Junior Logistics & Import/Export Officer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Supply Management, Business Management, International Trade, Transportation Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in an import and export company.
- Practical experience handling import/export documentation, shipment coordination, customs processes, and logistics operations.
- Familiarity with Letters of Credit (L/C), trade finance procedures, and bank-related import/export transactions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organizational and document management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
