Digaf Micro Credit Provider is seeking qualified candidates for the following job opening. Digaf Microcredit Providers, a technology-driven microfinance institution, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ethiopian Ministry of Labor and Skills (MoLS).

 

This collaboration will enable both parties to enhance access to affordable digital loan products for individuals with low to medium incomes. The institution’s goal is to offer financial assistance to those in the middle to lower-income brackets by leveraging technology within the financial sector.

Position 1: Digital Loan Officer

Required Qualifications Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer since, Economics and Accounting and finance
  • Experience: 1-2 year of experience in digital loan, microfinance, or banking operations

Skill:

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail in loan processing and documentation.
  • Utilize social media and digital communication effectively to engage with clients.
  • Manage client relationships with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze loan data and provide insights for process improvement.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve organizational goals.
  • Adapt to new digital tools and technologies swiftly.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.

Location: Addis Ababa

Position 2: Executive Secretary and Office Administrator

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in business administration, management, or a related field.
  • The role involves coordinating office activities, supporting management, and facilitating communication within the organization.
  • The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple tasks effectively.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day office operations and maintain organized filing systems.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for executives.
  • Prepare and distribute internal and external communications.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations.
  • Facilitate communication between departments and external stakeholders.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Monitor office supplies and place orders as necessary.
  • Support the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Maintain office equipment and coordinate repairs when needed.
  • Implement office procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
