Deborah Foundation is a registered non-profit organization with a mission to improve the lives of children with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities through support in the areas of health Education, and Policy Advocacy, It is Established in 2019.
Position 1: Assistant Teacher
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, social science or any related field with 0-year experience
- Specialization in Special needs Education would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of current educational and instructional methodologies and techniques
- Priority given for females.
Summary: Assistant Teacher is responsible for assisting the main classroom teacher in developing and implementing a program of activities that will promote the social, emotional, and physical development of each student in the classroom. The Assistant Teacher carries out their duties under the direction of the lead classroom teacher.
Salary
- Gross salary ETB 7,500.00
Full time – Fixed term contract
Location: Deborah Village, Sheger City Administration Legetafo Legedadi Sub City
Position 2: BSc Nurse
Qualifications:
- BSc Degree in Nursing.
- Professional license.
- Minimum 1 year of experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to client-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care.
- Monitor patients.
- Administer medications.
- Coordinate patient care.
- Maintain nursing records.
- Educate patients.
- Support infection prevention activities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Work rotational shifts, including nights.
