The Deborah Foundation is seeking qualified and interested individuals for the following roles.
Established in 2019, the Deborah Foundation is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of children with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities by providing support in health, education, and policy advocacy.
Position: Junior Physiotherapist
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
- Valid physiotherapy license
- Strong knowledge of neurodevelopmental and motor disorders associated with intellectual disabilities.
- Familiarity with evidence-based physiotherapy interventions and techniques for children with intellectual disabilities.
- Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate physiotherapy interventions effectively.
- Communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and engage with children and their families.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children with intellectual disabilities.
- Proficiency in written and spoken Amharic and English language.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and staying updated with the latest research and practices in the field.
