Dachi Manufacturing is an Ethiopian based manufacturing facility specialized in the production of culinary condiments for HORECA and export markets.
Position 1: Quality Control
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring and Inspection: Oversee production processes, inspect raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards (ISO, FDA, or industry-specific) .
Testing and Verification: Perform tests using precision tools and equipment to verify product dimensions, functionality, and appearance .
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, deviations, and corrective actions for traceability and accountability .
Process Improvement: Identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to enhance quality and prevent recurrence .
Compliance and Standards: Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies, including GMP, ISO, HACCP, and other relevant guidelines
Collaboration and Training: Work with production teams, engineers, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and train staff on quality control procedures and best practices .
Scheduling and Coordination: Plan production stages to minimize costs while meeting delivery deadlines and quality requirements
Job Requirement
- Education: Education BSc in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
- Experience:

- Work experience in food Manufacturing is advantageous
Skills Required
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to detect defects and deviations.
- Proficiency in inspection tools, measurement instruments, and quality testing equipment.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with teams, clients, skill
- Knowledgeable and must understand the basic concepts on quality assurance, such as quality control principles, methods and systems
- Able to communicate effectively with people, especially those around him/her, as well as with other departments to exchange information/data on existing issues that may affect the production process
- Must possess good analytical skills to determine probable causes of product defects and determine appropriate corrective actions when required
- Possess excellent problem solving skills to identify potential causes of defects and to come up with corrective actions that will eliminate or reduce the defect risks
- Ability to work under pressure and time constraints while still performing their tasks efficiently
- Good interpersonal skills to build and maintain good relationships with clients, suppliers, colleagues, and customers in a work environment
- Strong organizational skills, especially those related to scheduling, organizing the work load, and prioritizing activities
- Ability to work independently as well as cooperate with other departments if needed

Position 2: Senior Internal Auditor
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute internal audits and manage audit team to ensure that all business process are performed correctly.
- Analyze and evaluate accounting documents, preparing reports that reflect audit results and document the process.
- Identify and assess areas of significant business risk, internal controls and corporate governance processes.
- Collaborate with management to develop acceptable solutions to mitigate identified risk.
- Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management’s interventions and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Engage to continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards.
Job Requirement
- Education: BA in Accounting & Finance Accounting or related field
- Experience:
- 3+ years Proven experience as an Internal Auditor or Senior Auditor preferably in Manufacturing Company
- Work experience in food Manufacturing is advantageous
Skills Required
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases.
- High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations.
- Proficient in using computer-assisted audit techniques and various accounting software.
