The IT inter will participate in the level 1 IT support
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing hardware and software installation proceduresÂ
- Perform software configuration on stand-alone computers and laptopsÂ
- Provide support in diagnosing hardware and software issues and troubleshooting activitiesÂ
- Lay cables and wires for networks and ensure that they are in good working orderÂ
- Take user support requests and take measures to fulfill requestsÂ
- Assist in hardware and software inventory managementÂ
- Handle periodic maintenance of hardware and softwareÂ
- Troubleshoot equipment such as printers and scanners and other peripheralsÂ
- Assist in gathering user requirements and developing appropriate reports for IT professionalsÂ
- Provide users with ongoing assistance in their information technology problemsÂ
