Awash Capital S.C., a licensed investment bank functioning within Ethiopia’s capital market, invites motivated and qualified graduates to submit their applications for the role of Junior Customer Service Officer.

Position 1: Internal Audit Officer

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

•  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CIA is an added advantage.
• Minimum 3-5 years of progressive audit experience, preferably in investment banking or financial
  services.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, country regulatory standards, and risk-based auditing methodologies.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  Strong understanding of capital markets, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
  Proficiency in audit tools, data analysis, and reporting.
  High ethical standards and professional integrity.
  Effective communication and presentation skills.
  Ability to work independently and manage multiple audits simultaneously.
  Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Position 2: Research, Planning and Monitoring Officer

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance,  Business Administration, Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Accounting, Statistics, Development Studies, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in research, strategic planning, monitoring, business analysis, preferably within financial services or investment banking.
  or
• Strong knowledge of economic, financial, and capital market analysis, Ethiopia’s capital
  market, and the investment banking regulatory environment.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent analytical, research, report writing, and presentation skills.
  Strong understanding of performance management frameworks, KPIs, and business analytics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite — Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with Power Bl or other data analytics tools is an advantage.
• Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• High attention to detail, accountability, and professional integrity.
• Ability to manage multiple planning, monitoring, and reporting deliverables simultaneously.
